Find a spot on Cherry Esplanade to enjoy the cherry blossoms, lit up for maximum effect, and savor the spring vibe with family and friends. Stroll in the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden and along Cherry Walk, try your hand at origami and other Japanese crafts, view a curated display of bonsai, and enjoy live performances and specialty food and drinks. Bring a blanket and picnic under the cherry blossoms!

Each night has a special lineup of performances on Cherry Esplanade including music, dance, and martial arts.

As you walk in the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden, look to the viewing pavilion for shamisen, koto, flute, and traditional Japanese court music performances. 

Try your hand at origami, kendama, and other Japanese crafts, and view a curated display of bonsai from BBG’s collection in the Lillian and Amy Goldman Atrium.

Hint for the Average Socialite: Advance tickets required; tickets sell fast! Adult tickets: $40 nonmember/$30 member; Child tickets: $20 nonmember/$15 member. Prices include all fees.
